Helping Us Maintain a Meaningful Graduation Ceremony
Dear Students, Families, and Guests,
As we prepare to celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2026, we are looking forward to a memorable and meaningful graduation ceremony for all in attendance. This event is one of the most important milestones in our students’ lives, and we want to ensure that every graduate has the opportunity to hear their name called and be recognized in a respectful and dignified environment.
We kindly ask for your cooperation in helping us maintain that atmosphere by refraining from bringing or using noise makers (such as air horns, drums, whistles, cowbells, or other disruptive items) during the ceremony. While we absolutely encourage your excitement and pride, excessive noise can make it difficult for graduates and their families to fully experience this special moment. If you do not cooperate, you can be removed from the ceremony.
There will be appropriate times to celebrate and cheer, and we welcome your enthusiasm in ways that allow all guests to enjoy the ceremony.
Thank you in advance for your understanding and support in making this a positive and memorable experience for every member of the JHS Class of 2026.
Sincerely,
Dr. Randy E. Oliver, Principal
Joplin High School
