Freshman Academy

All 9^th graders at Joplin High School will be enrolled into a Freshman Academy course designed to help them explore the Career Academies and pathways open to them through JHS and FTC courses. Students will tour programs, work with their instructor to gain a broad understanding of options, engage in presentations from industry partners, and eventually participate in a signing day event near the end of the school year to officially choose which Career Academy they are most interested in entering.
