Joplin High School offers an impressive array of career and technical education courses through FTC including Automotive Technology, Graphic Design and Printing, Culinary Arts, Welding, Computer Networking, Nursing Options, and Landscaping. Started in 1937, FTC provides JHS students with the opportunity to participate in a quality training program that can lead to gainful employment or advanced placement in a college technical program. Most courses are two-year programs, so it is desirable that juniors enroll in the program and continue during their senior year.
