• Meetings are during class, and occasionally, after school.
• To participate, students must either: A. be enrolled in the “Constitution Team" course, or B. be enrolled in our D.C. Government Course (or schedule to be enrolled in the Spring AP Government Course), AND meet with the Constitution Team Instructor to secure a spot on the Constitution Team.
• The Constitution Team consists of three groups that specialize in areas of U.S. Government and Constitutional history, application, and issues. Each week teams research, then present their views and support regarding Constitutional, political, public policy, and current issues via a Mock Hearing. Hearings culminate in an April State Constitution Team Competition.
• This is a must for any student interested in Law, Government, Public Policy, or Politics, and is a huge resume asset.
