National English Honor Society

• Meets on the fourth Friday of each month at 8:00 a.m. in room E225, committee meetings should be that afternoon, but can be moved as needed, but each committee will be required to meet monthly and to report to the business meeting every month.
• We are called the Langston Hughes Chapter of the National English Honor Society. Our members are students who excel in English and who enjoy working together to promote literacy, to share readings, and to compete in and share our writing activities. As an Honor Society, we are dedicated to service projects such as promoting literacy within the school and in the community. We currently have 40 members, with more members joining us in the spring.
