Science
Three units of science credit are required for graduation from the Joplin School District for the class of 2010 and beyond.
SCIENCE DEPARTMENT
The
science department consists of eleven instructors. Course offerings
are Advanced Biology, Advanced Physical Science, Anatomy &
Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Pathophysiology, Physical Science,
Physics, Principles of Science & Technology, and Science Research.
For the college bound student we offer Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
as Advanced Placement classes and Fundamentals of Physical Science,
General Biology, and General Chemistry I as a Dual Credit classes.
