The administration, faculty and staff of Joplin High School extend a sincere welcome to all students, parents, community members, and visitors to learn more about our school and many programs by visiting our new Joplin High School website – JoplinEagles.org. We’re proud of our new look! Our objective is for the JHS website to inform the public about our programs, open lines of communication, and be a model for learning.
For Joplin High School, we envision an educational community proud of its tradition that uses the richness of diversity to meet the needs of all students in preparing for the future. Our vision is to create an environment that will empower our students to assume responsibility as a lifelong learner and problem solver. We will teach and model the use of effective communication, cooperative relationships, and critical thinking as we continue our work to create a world-class high school.
From Joplin High School’s beginning in 1885 to the present we have strived to exemplify the proud heritage of our mascot, the EAGLE, which also represents this proud country. We hope you enjoy our website and its ease of use to help you find school schedules, information, programs, and services we offer for our students and community.
Sincerely,
Dr. Kerry Sachetta, Principal
