Practical Arts
One unit of credit in practical arts is required for graduation from the Joplin School District.
BUSINESS DEPARTMENT
The
Business Department consists of four instructors. Classes offered
include Accounting, Business Law, Business Leadership Technology,
Computer Applications, Computer Keyboarding, Desktop Publishing, Digital
Business Communications, Global Marketing, International Business,
Marketing I & II, Multimedia, Personal Financial Literacy,
Principals of Business, Sports & Entertainment Marketing, and
Supervised Business Experience. For the college bound student, we offer
Personal Finance as a Dual Credit class.

FAMILY & CONSUMER SCIENCE (FACS) DEPARTMENT
The
Family and Consumer Science Department consists of three instructors.
The courses offered include Career and Family Leadership, Child
Development and Parenting, Fashion Design I and II, Foods &
Nutrition I and II, Food Science, and Housing & Interior Design.

INDUSTRIAL ARTS DEPARTMENT
The
Technology Education Department has one instructor. Classes offered
are: Foundations of Technology, Graphic Design, Robotics, and Technology

JROTC Department includes of three instructors. Course offerings in
this department are JROTC Personal Financial Literacy, Leadership &
